Add CRM Module "Customer" to Accounting Customer" Automatically.

  Currently, we have to go “around the world” to create an Accounting Module Customer from a CRM Customer.
  Even if the CRM Contact has the Status of “Customer”, it is not found as a “Customer” in Accounting.
  
  We have to:
  1. Go to the CRM Module and locate the e-mail address listed in the CRM Customer.
  2. Go to the Accounting Customer Tab and Add Customer
  3. Type in the e-mail address from the CRM Customer
  4. Agree to Import the CRM Customer as an Accounting Customer
  5. Save the new Accounting Customer
  6. Go to the Accounting Sales Tab and create a new Invoice.
  7. THEN we can select the Accounting Customer for use with our Invoice/Sale.
  
  WHEW! A lot of steps given todays technology. I guess I could simply write a DB script to pull the data automatically when I change the STATUS to Customer in the CRM, but I would have thought WP ERP would do that.
  
  Is it possible at all to have it where an Accounting Module Customer is automatically created when we change the Status for a CRM Contact from, Lead or Opportunity to Customer?

  Thanks for your post.
  Your steps are perfect for now. But we do have a plan to add an automation in future so that whenever a new customer is added in CRM, it will also be added in Accounting. Hope we will add this feature in WP ERP by this month.

    Also, from your reply, you mention that “when a new ‘CRM Customer’ it adds it as an Accounting Customer as well. Will the new functionality ONLY add the CONTACT when the Life Stage is changed to Customer in the CRM or will it simply add it when ANY NEW CONTACT is added to CRM?

    I think logical will be to add a customer in Accounting automatically when a customer (life stage = customer in CRM -> Contacts) is added in CRM -> Contacts.
    
    And we are expecting that this feature will be available by this month.

  Good morning, I’m also interested in implementing this functionality. I will be following up on the subject, and knowing when to launch this update. Good job, this week we are assigning a developer to start evaluating paid plugins, but we want to make sure the standard system is fully functional.

  Yes, we are anxiously awaiting this. I was wondering why you would need to “separate” the CRM and Accounting database with regard to “Customer Information”.
  
  When a CRM Contact is changed to “Customer” the CRM Customer Information fields in their existing table could simply become accessible TO THE Accounting Module instead of using a separate table. I would not have a problem with making it mandatory that all customer information edits be done via the CRM, in fact that makes more sense so you don’t have a new address in the customer’s Accounting Module table and an old address in the CRM.
  
  It’s like displaying a form with fields from multiple data sources instead of creating separate data sources full of duplicate information. This would simplify the modifications necessary to make this happen. Keep it simple I always say. displaying fields in ANY AREA of WordPress is merely a database “CALL”. Currently, if I am correct, you guys are populating two entirely separate tables for CRM and Accounting, when customer information should be stored in ONE TABLE yet accessible by all modules. This way, no matter where you EDIT the customer information, it shows up with the modified data in every place within WP-ERP.
  
  Just babbling here, but anxious to see it in action.

  It seems to be not applied. I cannot see any customer in CRM module in Accounting module. In addition, I also cannot create new customer in Accounting module.

  Some of the customers in the CRM module can’t be found in the Accounting module.
  Tech support suggested to add the customer in the Accounting module but doesn’t work and in addition to not working deletes the data for that customer in the CRM module
