Sorry if this is a silly question, I am completely new to WP ERP. I have created a Contact Form 7 form and under ERP->Settings->Contact Forms set your-message field to notes. I am expecting to se the email under the CRM-Contacts view.
Am I missing something. Or is there other way to capture email content for sales team?Thanks,

Contact form 7 will create a new contact and add that contact to a contact group in WP ERP.
Notes/messages will not be stored under that contact (given in the contact form).Thanks π

Thanks for the reply. Is there a way to create a form and assign a message field that would be passed on to the notes? Where I can find the list of shortcodes available in wperp?
Thanks

By default, there is no form that can store information in the notes of CRM.
You may need to customize WP ERP to achieve this feature.Thanks π

Hi To help with this issue, I assigned the notes to the Phone Number field so I could see that there was content, The field does not wrap so it is not really a good solution . also the field is limited to 15 characters aproxx. I cannot see another workaround

@tullylens@gmail.com,
WP ERP is capable to bring the first name, last name and email address from contact form 7 by default. To bring additional fields or data you will need to customize WP ERP.

You can do what you want out of the box. I have the following fields in my Contact 7 Form:
FIRST NAME
LAST NAME
COMPANY NAME
EMAIL
TELEPHONE
MOBILE
MESSAGEAnd I assign each of the above to the following in CRM:
FIRST NAME
LAST NAME
COMPANY (Which goes nowhere that I can see)
EMAIL
TELEPHONE
MOBILE
NOTESTo see the message you need to EDIT customer and scroll down to NOTES and you will have the original message that was sent when the person filled in the form.

@Steve Lees
Yes, you are right. But if you want to make the notes visible (without going to edit section), then you will need to add additional codes to display it.
Thanks π
