How to stop other employees seeing other employees when employee logs in

Hi, just as the title.

Does anyone know how to stop an employee loggin into their login page, then when they click employees – the logged in employee then sees every employee in the list – when using the front end login HR?

Ideally, what I want to happen, is to create two roles. One is Employee, the other is Manager. When either role type logs in, then the person (depending on their role) is redirected to a different page.

First its the above problem, of stopping people see other employees (even though they are the same role type) and secondly, how do I redirect the role to another page… OR! instead of redirect, can I put a video document on the persons login page at the bottom.

Am I talking rubbish, or its not possible, or should I go elsewhere. Cannot afford to pay anyone for custom work.
