I’ve left multiple messages over the past week without a single response, so I’m going to try and use the forums. We purchased both the ERP, and the Front-end module, but can’t figure out how to get everything up and running.
We want managers to be able to create, and delete standard users, as well as having the ability to assign positions to each employee.
Each employee’s position will have access to different tests for said position.
Thanks.

Sorry to hear that you’ve not got any response!
I just checked the history but could not found any queries like this that were not responded! This is really strange!
Could you tell me your customer email address, that was used to message us?And this documentation will assist you in setting up WP ERP properly: https://wperp.com/documentation
Thank you π

You can assign a user as “HR Manager” for this functionality.
Navigate to:
“HR Management -> Employees -> Visit Employee Profile -> Go to Permission tab”
Now check the role “HR Management” and update permission. That’s all! Now, this employee will be able to access only in HR module.
Cheers π

That doesn’t give the manager the ability to create, only delete.

Then there must be something wrong with your site.
Please contact our support at “[email protected]” and so that they can check your site and find out the reason behind this. Thanks π

I don’t think that it what the OP was asking. There is no ‘Line manager’ role in WP-ERP – only Employee or HR Manager.
In virtually all companies there will be hierarchy , ie Director -> Manager -> Team Lead -> Employee
I would expect WP-ERP to have a Line Manager role where a user would have access to only the staff in the chain below. That access should be based on a permission set created in the main module settings. ie, a Line manager could have read only access to Job Information and read/write to leave and performance (line managers manage performance, not HR)
The HR manager role should be reserved exclusively for the HR team as it has full access to everything!
Will you be implementing anything like this soon as without it the whole HRM is module wont scale to bigger businesses

Thanks for your suggestion. I’ve added this as a feature request in our future log and will surely try to bring this in near future π
