"Phantom" employee profiles – Can't delete

Hello, I’m having trouble with some blank employee profiles that I can’t delete. I suspect the reason these exist is because I inadvertently deleted the WP user without first deleting the HRM user. I’m still in the site building and testing phases, so I’ve been created and deleting users to test workflows.

All I want to do at this point is delete these blank users. When I try to, I get a popup that says “No employee found”. I’ve tried going into the blank profile and filling in all the required fields, but this results in the blank profile remaining as-is, and a new user being created.
