      Hello,
The trial balance and balance sheet are not balancing.

When displaying the trial balance and the Balance sheet, a row called “Balance” appears at the end of the trial balance and in the Balance Sheet the same row appears in the Equity column. This row shows the cumulative value of the all the sales invoices, and in effect its is adding the sales value twice to the credit side of the trial balance and twice in the equity column!!

What is this row there? and how do I get rid of it?

      What am I doing wrong?

      Hello Tom,

If you notice the change log, you will find that we have added a new feature “carried forward”. This feature enables you to add dues and expenses from the previous financial year to the next financial year.

So you will find a new head named “Balance” on the trial balance report.

If you have any previous entry, then the trial balance will have the previous balance added.

Note: We reply to each support email and forum posts. So I would request you to post only in one channel.

      Thanks 🙂
