Hello @amer,
Please make sure you are using a valid CSV file. I have just tested a random CSV file. After uploading the file, the system will ask you to select the header where is the employee ID and date/time is located.
So the structure of the CSV file is not an issue. Only 2 things that you need to keep in mind is-
1. Employee ID – it can be set on employee profile.
2. Date Time Format – 2016-01-03 08:58:19 (Y-M-D H:M:S). Note that the time has to be in 24-hour format.If you are still having issues after following the above instructions, you can mail me the CSV file to [email protected] and I will make a template for you π

Thanks a lot,
I think that this is for check-in, what about check-out? -

We have tested some common devices and they create a new row when a new entry is posted. So we count the very first and last entry of the same day to calculate the check-in and checkout time.
So if you have 2 or more rows for the same employee ID, then the system will pickup the check-in and check out time automatically.

how is the check out format, can you amend no 2.
1. Employee ID β it can be set on employee profile.
2. Date Time Format β 2016-01-03 08:58:19 (Y-M-D H:M:S). Note that the time has to be in 24-hour format. -

Hello @developer,
I did not understand your last reply. If you need a reference file, this doc has a link for you https://wperp.com/docs/hrm-add-ons/attendance-management/ to download a sample CSV file.

Hello Vipermarx,
This template is not from any device. We have just made a general format which everyone can use and convert their data easily.

@All,
Just removed the old “sample CSV file” from the documentation and added the latest CSV file so that no one suffers for it in future.Thanks π
