I don’t think that it what the OP was asking. There is no ‘Line manager’ role in WP-ERP – only Employee or HR Manager.
In virtually all companies there will be hierarchy , ie Director -> Manager -> Team Lead -> Employee
I would expect WP-ERP to have a Line Manager role where a user would have access to only the staff in the chain below. That access should be based on a permission set created in the main module settings. ie, a Line manager could have read only access to Job Information and read/write to leave and performance (line managers manage performance, not HR)
The HR manager role should be reserved exclusively for the HR team as it has full access to everything!
Will you be implementing anything like this soon as without it the whole HRM is module wont scale to bigger businesses
The ability to have leave policies for the following year is a must have feature. As a business owner I cant have my staff having to wait until the last day of the year before being able to submit any holiday for the next year.
Most people book their holiday at least a few months in advance so being limited to one year doesn’t work
