Products
To use the WP ERP accounting system, you need to have products from all along. You can choose these products while you are preparing invoices and purchase orders.

Product and Services
To create a product, navigate to WP Admin Dashboard→WP ERP→Accounting→Products.
You will get options “Products & Services” and “Product Categories”. Click on “Products & Services”.
Click on “Add New Product”.
You will get a pop-up like this.
Add your product name, product type, category of your product, cost price, sale price, vendor name, and tax category.
Hit “Save” to complete creating your product.
There are three vertically aligned dots on the right side of the product items.
If you click it there will be options “Edit” and “Delete”. If you want to edit your product name, price etc, click on the “Edit” button. To delete a product press the “Delete” button.
Product Categories
Labeling a product under a category makes it easier to find the product.
So it is a good idea to categorize all the products. Items like chips, burgers, etc can go under the food category. Different kinds of drinks can go under the beverages category. Then computers, mobiles.smartwatches can go under the gadget category and so on.
To create a category, navigate to WP Admin Dashboard→WP ERP→Accounting→Products.
Then click on “Product Categories” from the drop-down menu.
To create a category, type the category name. Keep the parent category empty for now.
Hit “Save”.
Your category will be created.
For the parent category part, suppose you have created a category called “gadget”. Then you have created another category “computer” which falls under the category “gadget”. So you can assign “computer” under the parent category “gadget”. All the category created can be used as a parent category.
Hit “Save” to finish.
