Assigning Department & Designation to an Employee

You can assign a department or designation to an employee by going to the job tab of that employee. The designation has been referred to as  “job title” here.

Go to WP Admin Dashboard → WP ERP → HRM → Employees → Click on the employee → Job (tab) → Update Job Information

Click on Update Job Information to edit.
Select the Date, change the location, and choose the Department and Job Title as required. You can also select who this employee will Report To.

It’s that easy to assign employee designation and department!

Update ”Designation” for an existing employee

Updating the designation for an existing employee is a bit different.

Just navigate to WP Admin Dashboard → HRM → Employees → Select an Employee → Job Tab → Update Job Information →Job Title.

Update “Department” for existing employee

To update “Department” for an existing employee just navigate to WP Admin Dashboard  HRM → Employees → Select an Employee → Job Tab → Update Job Information → Department.

This completes the process.
